In 2023, Acorn Players was thrilled to workshop Laser Webber’s touching and witty musical “Teaching a Robot to Love” and in 2026, alongside Director Emily Kollin, we are excited to announce our workshop of Stephanie Weber’s new and powerful dark comedy - “Comediettes.”
This workshop production is an opportunity to watch a production develop with the playwright's input. Come see theater evolve!

Acorn Youth Players: Stepsisters
Everybody knows the Brothers Grimm's most famous fairy tale. But what if they told it from the wrong point of view?
"Stepsisters" tells the totally-true-not-at-all-made-up version of the little cinder girl. When Drew and Beth are thrown into the dungeon for conspiring against the throne, these stepsisters, who are not wicked, evil, and certainly not ugly, are forced to tell their fellow prisoners the real story of what happened with Cinderella.
Part flashback, part story theatre, and all high-octane musical comedy.

ACORN Players is excited to announce our upcoming 2026 Season. In an uncertain time, it's important to focus on the truth we find everywhere. This season we hope to explore the life of truth, from spoken to sung, from watching others fail to see the truth, to desperately trying to keep up appearances: come join us and speak truth together.
